Night Entertain Ladies The Kenansville-Warsaw Rotary Club hold its regular meeting Wed n esday night in the cafeteria of the local high school. The occasion was annual ladies night at which the Rotarians entertained "their wives end lady friends. I Rotarlan J. K. Long presided over the meeting In a very graci ous manner. Tba program consist ed of Rotary songs, stunts and a few short talks. Rotarian Bob Wells welcomed the ladies. Jimmy Jerrett, the "Will Rogers" of the club, gave a three minute Joke cracking exhib ition. Rotarian Joe Bowman gave the more serious talk of the even ing, discussing the subject of "Fel lowship, the Heart of Rotary." A very enjoyable repast, table loaded with chicken, rice, gravy and everything that goes with it, I was served by Mesdames Ingram and Newton, managers of the cafe teria. Mrs. F. M. Tba mcetine was very largely attended, not only by the members but also by a great many farmers who are not members but who de sire to acquaint themselves with the credit facilities which the asso ciation Is offering. An Invitation had been extended by the associa tion to all farmers to attend. The department reported fa us this week that our paper1 had suc ceeded in placing the seven year old girl In the home of Mr., and Mrs. U C. Howard in Pink Hill and applications for the five year old girl had been received. The reaction to our editorial last week on Caswell Training School was very gratifying to the publishers. Evidence over the coun ty is proving that the TIMES is receiving 'recognition.'; Merchants and fertilizer dealers might do well to consider this. The low cost of credit resources of financial centers of the nation long available to other industries, have through these associations been made available to agriculture, he said.
